Donald Trump says Twitter has become “really boring” since he was banned.
In a series of appearances on right-wing websites, Donald Trump this morning called for the impeachment of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, claiming that Republican members of Congress “have something on him.”
The former president’s distaste for Mr. McConnell is well known, but there is no reason to expect a concerted effort from other Republican senators against him. McConnell has invested heavily in the Senate midterm campaign, while Trump has used a disproportionate share of the money raised on his legal bills.
Trump’s jab at Mr. McConnell comes after news that former top aide Kash Patel is set to testify before a grand jury investigating the handling of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago after he was granted immunity from prosecution.
Mr. Patel is a close adviser to the former president and maintains a personal relationship with him. He was appointed as one of his official representatives at the National Archives and Records Administration.
Meanwhile, in the Oath Keepers trial yesterday, prosecutors revealed to Mr Trump a message written but never sent by the group’s former leader, Stuart Rhodes, who has been charged with conspiracy in connection with the January 6 attack.

Trump’s lawyers tried to intervene in the New York AG’s case, according to the report
Reporting in The New York Times says members of Donald Trump’s legal team tried to intervene yesterday in the hours before he filed suit against New York Attorney General Letitia James.
They warned the Florida lawyers who drafted the lawsuit (which at times sounds like the ex-president’s brags and complaints) that it was frivolous and would fail, and that they could commit wrongdoing.
Maggie Haberman believes other Trump advisers are now coming to Bruce Epstein on the issue.
Below are the details of the claim against Ms James:

ICYMI: Trump’s lawsuit against Letitia James
Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social account that he has filed a lawsuit against New York Attorney General Letitia James, accusing her of pursuing a “relentless, destructive, public and unapologetic crusade” against him.

Earlier this week, multiple outlets reported that officers at the department’s Washington, D.C. command center, responsible for monitoring live feed from cameras installed to monitor Pelosi’s residence, did not know anything was amiss until they saw police vehicles early on the morning of Oct. 28. with emergency lights activated outside the speaker’s townhouse.
The officer in charge of monitoring the cameras revealed only footage of the alleged attacker, David Depp, smashing the glass door at the back of the residence and entering, then reviewing footage from the previous few hours.
