‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ Revival or TV Movie? Emmy Wins Renew Hope

Will ‘The Nanny’s Club’ Make a Comeback? The show was canceled by Netflix in March after two seasons, and talk of a rerun — or at least a made-for-TV movie — elsewhere has been brewing since then.

But now the show is picking up momentum: “The Babysitters Club” won two at the Kids & Family Emmys this weekend for Outstanding Writing for a Live-Action Preschool or Kids Show and Outstanding Kids or Family Watching series.

“We’re talking about it in a very preliminary way, about whether we could take it elsewhere. Or, if we could do it like a movie, like a special wrap-up,” executive producer Rachel Shukert told type“The girls are obviously older now than when we started, they’ve really grown up. So I think we’ll have to set it up a bit in the future. But there’s so much love for this show and this property and these characters Much, for that I am so thankful. Even after the show was not renewed for season 3, it was so comforting and gratifying to see how much people loved the show. And this [Emmy] Kind of like the cherry on top of a sundae. ”

“This is the first time we’ve really come together as cast and producers to celebrate the show,” she added. “So you have to think that the appeal can be carried over to a movie or something like that. Stay tuned.”
