Square Enix has released new information and screenshots for a strategy RPG remaster Ogre Tactics: Rebornwhich introduces the game’s Warren Report, side stories, relics, and even more classes.

■ The Warren Report
The Warren Report describes your actions in Valeria, profiles of characters you meet and news of what’s happening around the country, as well as useful information about the game and how to play, all presented in a format databases.
But it is more than a database. There are also scenes of events that cannot be found anywhere else, and even reading information in the Warren Report can open up new places to visit. So be sure to check back often to see what’s new!
■ Dive into the Deep
Deep, satisfying gameplay is one of the highlights of the game. There are many locations off the main story path that have been set aside exclusively for the sheer fun of battle. If you manage to win these battles, new stages may appear on the map, allowing you to take on the challenge even deeper. Some of these paths can branch off, and depending on the path you take, the enemies you face and the treasures that await you will change. Gather riches to fill your coffers, gather materials to craft powerful items, and even recruit faeries, ghosts, and dragons into your party. See how deep your wits can take you!
Challenge Location: Wildwood Porampa
A vast forest with challenging terrain, known as a treacherous breeding ground for all kinds of strange beasts. Enemies with classes not otherwise available early in the game can be found here, so it’s a great place to track down new recruits for your forces.
—Each stage you clear will see an additional challenge deeper within. There’s no turning back during this series of battles, and no shops to restock supplies, so get ready!
—After you complete the site, you can “Withdraw” and re-enter as many times as you like.
Challenge Location: Palace of the Dead
The Palace of the Dead is a terrifying location full of powerful enemies, and can be unlocked by meeting certain conditions. Bring a well-prepared party if you intend to reach the depths of the palace.
—A long time ago, an evil wizard entered the Palace of the Dead in search of great power. Although many entered, none ever returned.
—Dungeon that descends seemingly endlessly. What evil lurks in the deepest depths?
—Special events can be found within it.
—The Palace of the Dead has some kind of secret…
—Defeat the deadly enemies that reside within to claim powerful items and spells.
Challenge Location: Pearsagh Cemetery
Shipwrecks gather drift by drift in this graveyard. Reports of ghosts and unsavory creatures pour in endlessly. Many pirates entered the cemetery hoping to claim the treasures, but none are known to have returned.
—Intricate Scandinavia carved by underground rivers and the endless ocean tides.
—Horrible creatures and the restless souls of sailors lost at sea are said to roam here…
—Defeat powerful enemies during battles to find the bandit’s treasure and rumors that you will let the rest of the cemetery.
New Feature: Remains
Among the equipment you will find in certain dungeons are new items called relics, which have different properties from normal items. You can combine relics with the same name in shops to upgrade different stats, such as attack type, element, and racial resistance. Stack the upgrades to help you take on even more powerful enemies.

■ Other Stories
Many other side stories await, including additional stories and dungeons available after completing the main story.
From traversing the different branches of the story to creating the ultimate weapons, the end of the game is just the beginning of the adventure!
■ Classes
Tip: After being incapacitated in battle, spirits from the world of darkness will revive after a certain amount of time has passed. However, clerics can use divine exorcism magic to put them to rest.

A skeletal warrior who came from the world of darkness using necromancy. Able to wield a wide range of weapons.
Puka
Summon an undead spirit without any physical form from the world of darkness using necromancy.
Lich
Mages from the world of darkness who have overcome death. They wield high level magic and abilities.
Golem
These artificial monsters are made of materials such as clay and stone. Originally created as guardians, now they answer to no master.
Dragon
Belted with hard iron scales, they scatter anyone who stands against them with large tails and fearful breath.
Gryphon
Magical beasts with the body of a lion and the wings and head of an eagle. Since they rise high into the wind, they are unaffected by roughness and elevation differences.
