

The IS Supreme Court send Android version 2.0 of its mobile application, which will give access to law enforcement officers and nodal officers of various union ministries to watch court proceedings in real time.
Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud said that the app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and the iOS version will be available in a week.
“Android 2.0 version is available and iOS will be available in a week. In addition to lawyers and advocates of record, the application will give exclusive real-time access to all legal officers and nodal officers of various ministries of the Central Government. them to watch the court proceedings by logging in through this application,” the CJI said.
He made the announcement before the start of the day’s work and asked the lawyers to download the application for easy access to the details of the case.

The mobile application, which existed earlier, gave lawyers and advocates access to records to view court proceedings. It also showed the status of cases, orders and judgments.
During the pandemic, the then Chief Justice NV Ramana gave access to a few mediators to enable them to observe court proceedings virtually.
In a press release issued this evening, the Supreme Court said that the first version of the mobile app was released in 2019 on Constitution Day.
“From November 26, 2019, SCI App Mobile downloaded by over 100000 users. SCI Mobile App is a free to download App that provides useful information about pending cases and decisions. The SCI Mobile App provides personalized Dashboard containing Cause Lists, Status of Cases, Daily Orders, Judgments, Latest updates, Office Reports, Circulars and much more”, he said, adding that all relevant information can be accessed and downloaded through an easy-to-use interface.
He said that in the updated version, the Attorney General of India, The Attorney General of India, law officers as well as nodal officers of central ministries and departments can view the case status, orders, judgments and other relevant information in the welfare cases.
“The IS SCI Mobile App version 2.0 will provide real-time information on Interlocutory or Miscellaneous applications and documents filed in the case. In addition, a copy of applications and documents electronically filed by the other party will be available i PDF format,” the statement said.
