Rapper Kanye West, now known as Ye, once showed Yeezy staff explicit videos of his then-wife Kim Kardashian, according to a blockbuster report in Rolling Stone.
Rolling Stone interviewed two dozen former Yeezy and Adidas employees. Some of those staffers described how West showed them explicit photos of Kardashian in multiple spontaneous situations.
One incident documented by Rolling Stone involved a meeting with the Yeezy creative team in 2018. At the meeting, West showed a sexually explicit video of Kardashian that Rolling Stone interviewed with a person who said he had seen it.
Another such incident in 2018 occurred when West met with an unnamed young creative in Chicago, according to Rolling Stone. The creative was meeting West for a job interview and found West dancing to his own songs. The staffer told Rolling Stone that West pulled out his phone and said, “My wife just sent me this.”
According to The Creative, West showed him an intimate photo of Kardashian.
“It was very revealing and personal. I didn’t really react,” the creative said.
Rolling Stone also reported other incidents in which West played pornography in front of Yeezy collaborators — not involving Kardashian.
A Yeezy collaborator told Rolling Stone West that he was shown an explicit video of porn star Francesca Le having sex with another woman. The man was describing what he was asked to see on the rapper’s laptop screen during a meeting at West’s Hollywood Hills home, where they planned to discuss a potential project.
“He was like, ‘What do you think?’ Not smiling at all,” the creative told Rolling Stone.
The outlet also interviewed two other creatives, one of whom worked with West in the early days of Yeezy, who said West showed them amateur porn videos of himself having sex with women.
A representative for Kardashian and an attorney for West did not immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.
