Jessica Simpson has responded to fans’ concerns after sharing a Pottery Barn video ad that went viral last week.
On Sunday, Simpson took to her Instagram to address her haters, while also revealing that she has been sober for the past five years.
“Even though I’ve learned to block out disruptive noises…people’s comments and judgments are still deeply hurt,” she wrote with herself in her music studio, singing. “The most important thing I’ve learned over the past 5 years is that I can and always will get through without alcohol as an escapist guard.”
She continued, “I sympathize with the self-righteous hatred that some people can easily blurt out so strongly on social media or media in general. We all want to be, look, do and feel better. Day. No one is alone, I can assure you.
