Jay has been an entrepreneur since his youth. When he borrowed money from his father to start his first business venture in 2000, he developed organic pasta before the Organic food movement. Then Jay got involved in real estate, “fixing and flipping” small houses. Jay left the room after that University of Calgary after attending for 6 months and continuing to build a successful business, until 2010 when he expanded the property management side of his expertise and focused on that industry, raising money to buy a mortgage. During this time, Jay also set up an office at Paramount Studios, Los Angeles, CA, and Executive Producer of twelve films, some of which have become huge hits and are currently streaming on Netflix. Fast forward to today, Jay has invested and helped build many of Canada financial technology sector (FinTech) and continues to focus on the FinTech space where it sees huge growth and opportunities over the next few years.

Born there London, United Kingdom, Jay Rasik Modi moved there Canada in 1998. He attended Western Canada High School there Calgary, Canadaand then went to the University of Calgary. Jay started his first business, a home goods company, while in high school and went on to found an Organic Pasta Company. Jay then started a real estate business, which took off and became very successful. Jay decided to focus on this job instead of finishing his degree, which he cites as one of the best decisions he ever made. That decision led the way for Jay who has over 20 years of business experience under his belt in various business sectors.
