Holland America Reveals Longer Alaska 2024 Itineraries

Holland America Line, well-known as the premier Alaskan cruise line, is offering longer itineraries, more exciting options and a stunning voyage around the Arctic Circle for the final frontier of the 2024 season.

With the first option, as well as more voyages to Glacier Bay National Park than any other cruise line, Holland America Line is poised to continue to dominate the Alaskan cruise market.

New routes for 2024 have been revealed

Celebrating Alaska State Day – the state officially became the forty-ninth state of the United States on January 3, 1959 – Dutch American line has announced exciting new itineraries for the 2024 sailing season.

Highlights include longer itineraries from different ships with different ports of call and land extension options to truly connect travelers to this amazing destination.

“With six ships serving Alaska and the only cruise line to own land operations in Denali and the Yukon, nobody does Alaska better than Holland America Line.”

The 2024 Alaska season runs from end of April to end of September, and cruises are now open for bookings. Full cruises, which will include ocean escapes as well as land expeditions to Denali and Yukon, will be available for booking in February 2023.

Special highlights of the 2024 itineraries include a wide variety of 7-night cruises, including both northbound and southbound cruises between Whittier (Anchorage) and Vancouver. Guests who prefer to travel round-trip from a single home port can choose between the Vancouver or Seattle options.

The scenery is a highlight of any Alaska cruise, and every Holland America Line itinerary includes a visit to one or more of Alaska’s iconic glacier destinations: Glacier Bay National Park, College Fjord, Dawes Glacier, Hubbard Glacier or Tracy Arm.

Depending on the ship, itinerary and sailing date, guests will also visit iconic Alaska ports such as Anchorage, Juneau, KetchikanSkagway, Valdez, Sitka, Wrangell and more.

Alaska Arctic Solstice Cruise

Of particular interest is the unique, latest 28-night Alaskan Arctic Solstice cruise aboard the Vista Class. Westerdam. Round trip departure from Seattle on June 9, 2024 and includes 13 ports of call with an extended overnight call on Anchorage.

The ship will also visit many of Alaska’s scenic attractions, including the phenomenal Inside Passage, Hubbard Glacier, Prince William Sound, College Fjord, Glacier Bay and Tracy Arm, providing guests with excellent viewing and ample opportunities to observe the region’s majestic glaciers. whales, seals, seabirds, moose, bears and other wildlife.

One of the most memorable days on the route will certainly be June 20, 2024 – the summer solstice – when the ship will cross the Arctic Circle, a truly unique event for many travelers.
