
50 Cent says he’s doing a remake of the 2002 film 8 miles Enter a TV show.
The rapper announced during an appearance on Friday big boy tv The YouTube channel says the film is a semi-autobiographical take on Eminem’s life, with an “on-air” TV show.
“I’m going to take his 8 miles to TV,” he revealed, adding that Eminem, 50, will assist with the show’s production.
“It’s going to be big. I’m working. I don’t have any duds. I hit 100,” the 47-year-old rapper said after being asked about the show. “I think his legacy should be there because it’s important to me that they understand it.”

According to the rapper, the project will provide a “backstory” to the film and showcase Eminem’s youth. He also expressed hope that the show will share Eminem’s story with new audiences.
The film was last revisited in 2020 when Eminem, who won Best Original Song at the 2003 Academy Awards for “Lose Yourself” from the film’s soundtrack, appeared at the 2020 Academy Awards to sing the national anthem . It came after Eminem missed the awards ceremony where he took home the win.
Most nominees tend to perform their songs on stage, but Eminem skipped the 2003 awards show entirely. Instead, the Detroit rapper was dozing off at his Michigan home with the TV tuned to a cartoon of his daughter Hailey, detroit free press reported at the time.
